Transfer Admissions Criteria

  • Transfer applicants must have completed at least 12 college-level credits to be reviewed for admission.  Transfer applicants will be evaluated solely on the basis of postsecondary credentials. Most programs require at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) in all postsecondary coursework for admission.

Notification of Admissions Status

After the Office of Undergraduate Admissions begins application review, transfer applicants receive notification typically within three to four weeks after their application is complete. Notification may take longer during peak processing periods. Applicants can track their application status online at any time.  Note - transfer applications observe a different processing schedule for spring and fall applications than first-time freshman applications.
