Kutztown University's Campus Protocols for Visitors
Kutztown University will lift its COVID-19 mitigation restrictions, effective June 1. The change reflects Governor Wolf's announcement, which takes effect May 31.
Mitigation restrictions including but not limited to, social distancing requirements, dining restrictions, occupancy limits, public reporting of cases, and mass screening will be lifted June 1.
In addition, masks will no longer be required for any individual on KU's campus, effective June 1. Individuals should follow CDC guidance for when to wear a mask, which can be read here.
Individuals who are fully vaccinated (two weeks after their final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine) can resume activities on campus without wearing a mask or physical distancing. In addition, those who are fully vaccinated do not have to quarantine if they have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19.
Individuals who have not yet been vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear a mask when unable to social distance.
