Admissions Scholarships

IntegraONE Scholarship

*Must be a Lehigh or Berks County resident. Established by IntegraONE, an information technology services and products company serving eastern Pennsylvania, to provide scholarship assistance to students from Lehigh and Berks counties.

William H. Long Scholarship Fund

*Must be a graduate of Lehighton High School. Established by the estate of William H. Long in memory of William H. and Sadie S. Long (1893) to provide scholarships to incoming freshman students who are graduates of Lehighton High School.

KU STEM Scholarship

The KU STEM Scholarship is awarded to twenty five incoming first-year students who are academically qualified and intend to major in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) programs and whose backgrounds indicate that he or she will make an outstanding contribution to the Kutztown University campus community.  Beginning in fall 2017, selected students will receive a $1,000 scholarship. The award is renewable for up to four years of consecutive fall and spring enrollment providing that the student maintains a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, completes a minimum of 24 credits each academic year, and maintains satisfactory academic progress.  This award is available only for fall and spring courses.

Donald L. Miller Undergraduate Scholarship

*Must be a freshman from Berks County, other than natural or physical science majors.

Lawrence R. Pugh/VF Corporation Scholarship

*Must be a freshman from Berks County. Given annually since 1999 by the VF Corporation, through the Berks County Community Foundation, to provide scholarship aid to students from Berks County attending Kutztown University.

Bill and Joanne Ribble Urban League of Philadelphia Scholarship

*Full-time student who demonstrates and maintains a commitment to community service and who does not qualify for federal or state grants. Established by Bill '73 and Joanne '74 Ribble to provide scholarship assistance through the Urban League of Philadelphia to four Kutztown University students from the School District of Philadelphia.

Wilson G. Sarig Scholarship

*Full- time student with a 3.0 GPA who demonstrates seriousness of purpose. Established by the estate of Mae Sarig Ardes '25 (daughter) in memory of Wilson Sarig (1894) to provide a scholarship to a promising student, enrolled or applicant, who is otherwise unable to pay tuition and whose attitude indicates a seriousness of purpose.

Richard R Sharman Scholarship

*Must be a resident of Spring Township, Sinking Spring. Esablished by Richard R. Sharman (Class of 1939) in memory of his parents, Attorney William E. Sharman (Class of 1899) and educator Edith Reber Sharman.

Russell C. Trexler '31 and Stella V. Trexler '30 Memorial Scholarship

*Must be a freshman majoring in elementary education, math or history. Established by the estates of Russell C. Trexler '31 and Stella V. Trexler '30 to provide scholarship assistance to students majoring in elementary education, mathematics or history.

Charles '54 and Betty Hewes '57 Grebey Scholarship

*Must be a freshman major in math, sciences, or liberal science.
