Sesquicentennial Logo

150 logo

KU's Sesquicentennial logo was developed for use on various promotional materials; apparel; official university publications, documents, web pages; and campus signage. The logo was designed by Haley Miller '14, a communication design major.

We encourage use of the 150th logo beginning July 1, 2015, and throughout the 2015-2016 academic year, as well as summer and fall semester 2016. It is provided below.

The logo is available in two-color (PMS 195 & 4515) and one-color formats (either 195 or 4515). However, we realize that vendor and/or cost limitations may prohibit the use of two-colors or even the PMS colors prescribed. Therefore, another color may be used for the logo in its entirety (for example, on Tshirts).*

The structure of the logo also may present size limitations. Options are available if necessary (for example, horizontal placement vs. vertical).*

*Please contact University Relations ( or University Marketing ( for assistance and approval before sending any materials to print or to a vendor. University approved licensed vendors must be used for the production of all promotional items featuring the logo.
