KU Information Channel

KUIC, the Kutztown University Information Channel, is operated by the office of Web, Digital and Social Media.

NOTE: Service Electric Cablevision channels are expected to change as of May 2019. This page will be updated when channel listings and availability are determined.

The televised messageboard is carried on campus on Service Electric Cablevision channels 24, 524 (HD tier) and 99; channels 24 and 524 are also carried throughout eastern Berks County.  Service Electric Cablevision users with direct tuners/Clear QAM can tune to channel 93.3 (HD) or 134.101.  KUIC can also be viewed on Kutztown's Hometown Utilicom channel 191, and Service Electric channel 266 and 765 in the Lehigh Valley.

The purpose of the channel is to provide information related to Kutztown University, specifically in the categories of events, academics, student life, news and sports and channel programming.  In addition to carrying written messages, the channel transmits video, still images, and national news and weather feeds.   The majority of audio is provided by the KU radio station, KUR.
