Performance at Kutztown University

Kutztown University hosts many cultural events throughout the year.  There are opportunities to enjoy performances in dance, music and theatre as well as guest lectures, exhibitions and special heritage month events.

Association of Campus Events, better known as ACE, creates, designs, and schedules events on-campus, excursions off-campus, and sponsors comedians and musical acts during the academic year. Comedian Ross Matthews from the evening television show Chelsey Lately, made a recent appearance. In addition, nightly events are planned including mock game shows, game nights, and open mics ... all ways in which to become interactive and get together with other members of the student body.

For those unfamiliar with the Kutztown area's heritage, or those who would simply like to explore further, the PA German Cultural Heritage Center is housed on campus. The center offers special events throughout the year.

You can also kick back for a show in the KU Planetarium in Grim Science Center or marvel at the artwork on display in the Marlin and Regina Miller Gallery in Sharadin Arts Building.

For more performances, the KU Performing Artists Series, KUPresents!, and its Children's Series schedule nationally recognized productions that are open to students and the public.

Following and cheering on the Golden Bears athletic teams also provides enjoyment and camaraderie among students and the community.
