Students, Faculty in Special Education/Visual Impairments Program Help Make Hawk Mountain More Accessible
Students in the Special Education Program on Visual Impairments recently spent the day at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary training staff on how to properly guide a person who is blind through the trails at Hawk Mountain. The students also put all print signage along the accessible trail into Braille in order for people with visual impairments to use the trail independently.
