The KU community held a vigil Monday to honor graduate student Hannah Varn, who passed away last week. Several university and community representatives spoke, and a moment of silence was held to remember Hannah and honor her memory.
Get Help When You Need Help - Students who would like to speak with a mental health counselor are reminded to call the KU Counseling Center at 610-683-4072. Students who need to speak to a counselor for mental health emergencies when the Counseling Center is not open can call Service Access and Management at 610-236-0530 or KU Public Safety at 610-683-4001.
Completion of Face-to-Face Classes, Thanksgiving Recess, Reminder of Fall Semester Schedule - Here's the schedule for the remainder of the fall semester, with some important dates to remember.
- Face-to-face instruction will be completed Fri. Nov. 20.
- No classes will occur the week of Nov. 23.
- Residence hall occupancy ends Wed. Nov. 25.
- University offices will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday Nov. 26-27.
- Classes will resume Mon. Nov. 30; all classes will be in a 100% online format.
- All finals will occur online the week of Dec. 7.
- Virtual Fall Commencement is set for Saturday, Dec. 12.
- University operations will not change after Nov. 20, when students return home and move to online learning.
First Gen Tip - Breaks offer a great opportunity to rest, reflect, and plan ahead. Brainstorm a study schedule that will allow you to prepare for finals over break.

McFarland Student Union Updated Hours - Beginning Mon. Nov 23. 8:00am- 4:30pm , Mon. - Fri. 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. The MSU will be closed Nov. 26 and Nov. 27, and Dec. 25 –Jan. 1.

Flex Dollars - A reminder that any unused flex dollars expire at the end of the academic year (May 2021). These are non-refundable if you withdraw or graduate.
