The Kutztown University Orchestra to Present First Concert of Fall Semester
Thu. Oct. 7, 7:30 p.m. in Schaeffer Auditorium. Directed by Peter Isaacson, the KU Orchestra will present their first concert of the semester. The program will feature Gustav Mahler’s Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen with mezzo-soprano Lynnette Chambers and Marce Dupre’s Cortege et Litanie with organist Conrad Smith. The performance is dedicated to recently retired KU Professors Dr. Ina Grapenthin and Dr. Trucilla Sabatino to celebrate their careers at KU and dedication to excellence in music education.
Fall Break - Classes will not be held on Mon. Oct. 11 and Tue. Oct. 12.
Together We're Golden - The Campaign for Kutztown University launched on Saturday. This 100% student-focused campaign's goal is to raise money for you and future Golden Bears.
Special Olympics Team Seeking Students - The Special Olympics team is looking for students to take an active role on the Special Olympics Management Team.
Student Commencement Speakers - Commencement speaker applications are being accepted from undergraduate and graduate students graduating this fall. The application deadline is Mon. Oct. 18.
Sign Up for TurboVote Services - Students who wish to vote for Homecoming Champions of the Spirit Court must be signed up for TurboVote services by Fri. Oct. 15.
KU BIC Submissions - The Entrepreneurial Leadership Center is hosting a Business Idea Competition. This is a great opportunity to gain experiential learning and win a cash prize. Submissions are due by Mon. Oct. 11 at 11:59 p.m.
Save the Date: Fireworks - Sat. Oct. 16 enjoy a postgame fireworks show following the football game against Shippensburg.

KU Facilities Testing Robotic Mowers - KU Facilities is testing rechargeable robotic lawn mowers near Lytle and Risley. Feel free to watch, but please avoid interfering with the units.
