ORGAN DONOR REGISTRATION DRIVE
April 15, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Boehm Lobby
Organ Donor Registration Drive: Boehm Science Building first floor lobby, Friday April 15 from 11 a.m. -2 p.m.  Stop by to learn about organ donation from KU's Health Careers Society.  Wear blue and green to promote organ donation awareness and get a prize at the table.  Contact hcs@kutztown.edu for more information.




 

HEADSHOT PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION EXTENDED
A photographer will be available to take headshot photos for any faculty or staff member who needs one on Tuesday, April 19, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. in MSU 322.  The background is maroon in color.  Please avoid wearing red, maroon or any small patterns.  If you have questions, please email me at dajohnson@kutztown.edu




  

MSU MOVIE SERIES
This week's MSU Movie Series film is The Hateful Eight which will be shown in the McFarland Student Union Alumni Auditorium on Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Admission is free! Check out the MSU movie website for more information.

SENIOR EXHIBITION
The Art Education and Crafts graduates are exhibiting their work in the Miller Gallery until April 24.   Work in all mediums will be on display by students training to become art educators and students majoring in the crafts of textiles, metals, ceramics, and wood.  Most of the work is for sale to the public.
Opening reception is Sunday April 17, 2-4pm in the Sharadin Arts Building.
The gallery is open Tues-Fridays 10-4pm, Saturdays 12-4pm, and  Sundays 2-4pm.  




  

MEN'S BASKETBALL CAMPS
The Men's basketball staff is hosting two summer basketball camps this summer. On June 20th-June 24th the Golden Bear Summer Basketball Day Camp is being held. Day camp runs from 9am-3pm daily. It costs $175.00 for the week. The camp is for boys and girls in grades 3-12. On July 24th-July 27th the Nike Basketball Camps is being held. This camp is for boys only, ages 8-17. Day camp runs from 9am-4pm daily ($325.00); Extended Day runs from 9am-9pm ($385.00) and the Overnight is $485.00. Spring 2016 Science, Technology and Math Open House - The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is holding a Science, Technology and Math Open House Saturday, April 16. Prospective students will have the opportunity to talk with faculty, current students, alumni and admissions personnel. The event will include tours of the campus and the science, math and technology research and academic facilities. CHILDREN'S LITERATURE CONFERENCE
April 16, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., MSU
Kutztown University will host its 18th Annual Children's Literature Conference on Saturday, April 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the MSU. Participants will have the opportunity to attend presentations by award-winning authors and illustrators Emily Arnold McCully, Andrea Davis Pinkney, Daniel Kirk and Jonathan Bean. Regular admission is $50, but KU student admission is only $10! Community Day on Friday, April 15 is from 2-3:30 p.m. and free to everyone! Looks great on a résumé! MILITARY CLUB AT KU KEYSTONE WARRIORS 5K
April 17, 8 a.m., Outside MSU
Come one, come all from your department to run in the Military Club at Kutztown University Keystone Warriors 5K! The campus department with the most registered participants on their team and actual runners on April 17 will be the winners of this year's trophy, engraved with their department name. The Office of Student Accounts has won this challenge two years in a row. Will they make it three years? Registration opens at 8 a.m. and the race begins at 10:30 a.m. on the MSU lawn. CANTALOBBER
April 17, 12 p.m., North Campus Water Tower
Join the KU Society of Physics Students for the 10th Annual Cantalobber Competition. They and other local high school and college physics programs will attempt to launch cantaloupes as far as possible with their homemade catapults, trebuchets, and other devices. The event begins at 12 p.m. on Sunday April 17, at the north campus water tower on the KU campus. OUT OF THE DARKNESS WALK 
April 17, 3:30 - 7 p.m., South Campus DMZ
Suicide prevention supporters will join and walk together to raise awareness about suicide, one of the leading causes of death in the U.S. Pre-register on line at http://www.afsp.org to help instill a sense of hope and community by walking together. Join a team or walk as an individual. Walkers may register the day of the walk.
