APSCUF STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE EXTENDED
The deadline for the APSCUF undergraduate scholarship has been extended to Friday, April 23. Recipients of the scholarships will be determined on the basis of their participation in campus service and solidarity activities as well as academic record. FDI ANNOUNCES ANNUAL MUSIC COMPOSITION WINNERS
The Frederick Douglass Institute is pleased to announce the winners of the "Celebrating Black Female Composers" Music Composition Contest for 2020-21:
– First prize goes to Aaron Springer.
– Second prize to the Center City Drive Band.
– Third prize to Khalid Akeel-Guiden.
– Honorable mentions for Jodi Dorsett and Ishmail Ebo.
– High school prize winner is Anna Gutzler (Wilson H.S.).
Normally, there is a concert to celebrate the musicians and their works, but due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are presenting links to their compositions through the FDI website. Congratulations to all the winners.
