CHAMBLISS GOLD MEDAL: ERIKA WALTER
Erika Walter, Langhorne, Pa., graduated in December with degrees in art education and studio art with a minor in crafts. She is awarded the Chambliss Academic Achievement Award Gold Medal in the category of original artwork of high quality. Walter's work has been recognized in four juried exhibitions outside of Kutztown University; most impressively, her work was selected for juried shows that are open to professional artists. Among students, she received third prize in the division of "Honoring Women in the Arts" at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education Gallery in West Lawn, Pa. Read More.

CHI SIGMA IOTA - CHI OMEGA UPSILON INDUCTION
Chi Sigma Iota - Chi Omega Upsilon hosted an induction ceremony of new initiates Friday, April 9. Our chapter was grateful to create a wonderful ceremony via Zoom for students and faculty to attend. Thank you to our faculty adviser, Dr. Deborah Duenyas and our executive board for organizing this event. During this ceremony, COU-CSI added 36 new members to their growing chapter. We also presented outstanding awards to the following students: Angel Almonte (Outstanding Clinical Mental Health Counselor Award), Rachel Beck (Outstanding School Counselor Award), Elizabeth Haines (Outstanding Marriage, Couples and Family Counselor Award) and Melissa Gillard (Outstanding Alumni Award).
