ANNOUNCEMENTS

HR OFFICE VOLUME
As we start the Fall semester, the normal busy is being escalated with our need to background check all student employees. During the first two weeks of the semester, we will have fewer individuals on phones as we reallocate our resources to handle the high volume of student employee walk-ins. If you have an issue that can wait until we get past the Fall startup, we thank you in advance for your patience. If you are a new faculty or staff member that needs to complete paperwork or background check information to begin working and get on the payroll, please be sure to identify yourself as such when you come to the Kemp building to avoid unnecessary delays. If you have an emergency and cannot get through on the main number, Dennis Engle will be the emergency contact for our office and can be reached at 610-683-4875. Thank you for your understanding!

FINGERPRINTING
Due to the high volume of customers, KU Campus Store fingerprinting service will be in the KUSSI Accounting office (MSU 171) during the first week of classes.  Service will be available between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday, August 24 - Friday, August 28.  We appreciate your patience during this busy time.

COUPONS, COUPONS, COUPONS!
Don't forget to pull out those coupon sheets from your Weekend paper this weekend and bring them to the COC! You don't need to cut the coupons - our students will do that, bring in the full sheets!

As part of Welcome Week, the Community Outreach Center will have a Day of Service on Saturday, August 29. We will be in South Dining Hall asking students going to and from lunch to participate in "10 minute mini-projects" to introduce them to the University vision and goal of having students engaged in service. We will also have the Miller-Keystone blood mobile here from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. We need help from faculty and staff through the donation of coupons, hygiene items, birthday supplies, etc. A full list of the needed supplies can be found using this link: https://orgsync.com/68686/files/587120/show . If this is your first time logging into KUnited you may be asked a few questions to set up your profile and you log in using your KU credentials. (full email and password).

Items can be dropped off at the Community Outreach Center, MSU 281, in the box outside the room. If you have any questions please contact Jerry Schearer (x3-4923) or schearer@kutztown.edu
