WEATHER

Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger
Stalled low over the Great Lakes will begin to slowly travel northeast. There is enough uplift to generate showers and thunderstorms. With ample low-level moisture, heavy rain could occur with these systems. The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for the area Monday so be aware of possible flood prone areas and do not drive through flooded roadways. Turn around, don't drown. High temperature near 80. Winds northeast at 6 mph. Rainfall between 0.1-0.25" with higher amounts where storms occur.

Shout out to Dr. Davis! His wife, Heather, welcomed their first son into the world on 11:53 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8. Noah Louie Davis was 8 lbs 1.5 oz. and was 21" in length.
