The Kutztown University Athletics Hall of Fame has announced its 2018 and 40th annual class of inductees. The class includes a former field hockey coach, and student-athletes from softball, track & field, baseball, football and field hockey. The class will be recognized at the induction ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 27, prior to KU's home football game vs. West Chester, at the Georgian Room of Old Main beginning at 9 a.m.

The 40th annual class includes:
Katlin Arbogast Kimmel '10, softball;
Justin Collins '04, men's track & field;
Ashley Fitzgerald '09, softball;
Ryan Loper '07, baseball;
Kevin Morton '12, football;
Liane Stocky Jenkins '96, field hockey; and
Betty G. Wesner, field hockey coach (1980-2012). CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR GENDER AND SEXUAL MINIORITIES CONFERENCE
We cordially invite undergraduates, graduates, faculty, staff, activists, and independent scholars to prepare presentations for the Gender and Sexual Minorities Conference at Kutztown University taking place Friday, September 28, 2018. Proposals are due by August 17. Our conference theme for this year is intersectionality with a focus on Queer People of Color. We are looking for presentations and workshops with specific learning outcomes focused on the planned topics as they relate to the LGBTQ+ community. DONATIONS NEEDED FOR WELCOME WEEKEND SERVICE PROJECT
Welcome Weekend 2018 will take place on Saturday, August 25 and Sunday, August 26. There are many events taking place including an opportunity for students and their family members to participate in service projects which will take place at the Rohrbach Library from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 25. We are looking for donations of the items needed for these projects: gallon-size zip lock bags, personal care items (shampoo, toothbrush, comb), and old t-shirts (any size). Donations can be dropped off at two locations: the Women's Center (Old Main) and the Community Outreach Center (McFarland Student Union) beginning Monday, August 6 through Friday, August 10. FALL 2018 BILLING UPDATE FOR DEPENDENTS, SPOUSES AND EMPLOYEES
Fall 2018 bills are due August 3. This includes any employees, spouses or dependents using an employment benefit to cover part of the bill.  Please log into the MyKU account and make the payment required by, or on Friday, August 3. While general emails and phone blasts will be sent to students who miss the due date, this is at an additional cost to the University and late fees may apply. Help us be conscious of this and meet the due date as assigned.  Please also remind the student to make their Intent to Attend - the checkbox and SAVE below the schedule in the Student Center.  If you forgot to submit a waiver request to HR, please do so immediately.
