KRONENTHAL WINS SCHELLENBERG AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE
Dr. Brian Kronenthal, associate professor of mathematics, has been awarded the 2020 John P. Schellenberg Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at Kutztown University. Hot and humid day in store for Friday. Some morning fog will burn off by mid morning and skies will become partly sunny. Midlevel atmospheric disturbance to pass during the afternoon that could trigger some thunderstorms. Those storms could be severe in nature. High temperature near 90. Winds west at 5-10 mph. Rainfall between 0.1-0.25 inch with higher amounts in storms.

INCLUSION CENTERS MEET AND GREET
The Multicultural Center, the Women's Center and LGBTQ+ Resource Center are hosting a Meet and Greet outside the centers 4-7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 28. Visit the inclusion centers to meet our staff and hear about who we are and what we do. We will be set up outside the Old Main, front entrance; outside the LGBTQ+ Resource Center at College Hill Memorial Grove and outside the Multicultural Center entrance. We look forward to meeting you. In the event of rain, the Multicultural Center will move indoors, and the Women’s Center and the LGBTQ+ will move into the Old Main Concourse.

In honor of the centennial of women’s suffrage, the Women’s Center is kicking off a collaborative programming series that focuses on the struggles and triumphs of the women’s rights movement yesterday and today. The series will give voice to some of the excellent women who educate and advocate for students at KU. We are pleased to present: “EQUALI-TEA TALK” which will be held on Wednesdays at 3 p.m. via zoom.
