Flash Flood Watch goes into effect starting at 2 p.m. Remnants of Fred will impact our area. Periods of heavy rain, possible thunderstorms, perhaps a rogue tornado during the day. High pressure to our east will keep the bulk of the rain over central Pennsylvania. High temperature in the low-80s. Winds southeast at 5-10 mph. Rainfall between 0.50-0.75" with localized higher amounts, possibly as much as five inches in some areas.

KU ESPORTS AND FACULTY DEMOS AT THE 2021 STEAMFEST
– The KU Esports Team - Ryan Bausch, Connor Ellis, Mark Fredericksen, Richard Garofolo, Christian Krajcik and Joseph Nolan - will be scrimmaging against the Steam Dragons 3-5 p.m., Aug. 21; panel discussions 2-2:45 p.m., Aug. 22; and final match 3-4 p.m., Aug. 22.
– Thiep Pham, Department of Computer Science & Information faculty member and Esports advisor, will demo the Microsoft HoloLens 2, the latest augmented reality (AR) technology, 1-1:45 p.m., Aug. 21.
– Donna DeMarco, Department of Computer Science & Information faculty member, will present today’s changing careers and STEAM education 4-4:45 p.m., Aug. 21.
