FOUNDATION BREAKS GROUND ON NEW BUILDING
The KU Foundation broke ground on the Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research Tuesday. The facility will be home to KU's growing collection of music, photos and artifacts, along with the rare and valuable vintage collection of mallet percussion instruments that have been acquired over three decades. The 13,250 square foot building will include a 2,100 square foot performance space in addition to rooms dedicated to each of KU's specialized collections of rare marimbas, xylophones, vibraphones, bells, steel pans and chimes. It will be a working facility, open to students as well as researchers, and will allow access to play the instruments as well as view one-of-a-kind materials unique to this center. Learn More.

By law, these marks cannot be altered in any way without permission of the University Relations Office. In addition, vendors reproducing the logos must be licensed through CLC Licensing. The current list of protocols and approved Kutztown University vendors can be found at: https://www.kutztown.edu/logos. Fall 2021 accommodation letters will be available for students to start distributing via email on or about Wednesday, Aug. 25. The email subject line will indicate that you are receiving an accommodation letter and will list the corresponding course number. Please save a copy of these emails for your records. Students are instructed to reach out to you to discuss their accommodations. Take some time to review the accommodation letter with the student and determine how you will provide the approved accommodations in your class.
