Weak cold front approaches the region but will wash out and stall. Foggy start to the day and then scattered showers and maybe some thunderstorms by afternoon. High temperature in the mid-80s. Winds south at 5 mph. Rainfall less than a tenth of an inch with higher amounts where storms occur.

WALKS WITH WYNNIE
President Kenneth Hawkinson invites you to walk with him, Mrs. Hayes-Hawkinson, and their dog, Wynnie at 5 p.m., Monday, Aug. 30. The walks start at the president's patio and will conclude at the President's House on Kutztown Road for light refreshments. Participants are welcome to bring their dogs. Walks will be canceled in the event of rain.

9/11 20TH ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATION
Kutztown University will recognize the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks 11 a.m., Friday, Sept.10, College Hill Memorial Grove. Rain location is 223 MSU. ALPHA SIGMA TAU SEEKING ADVISOR
The Gamma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Sigma Tau at Kutztown University is seeking a new faculty/staff advisor. AΣT currently has about 38 active sisters. AΣT is represented by the anchor and women empowerment. Our national philanthropies are: Women's Wellness Initiative, Dress for Success and Girls Who Code, and our local philanthropy is Berks County’s Women 2 Women. Our main campus events are Mr. KU (male beauty pageant), Anchor Slam (soccer tournament), as well as other fundraisers (bake sales, etc.). OFFICIAL UNIVERSITY TRADEMARKS
The beginning of a new academic year is a good time to remind everyone about proper use of official Kutztown University trademarks. The university logo and seal, the athletic logos featuring the Golden Bear and paw, and images of the KU mascot, Avalanche, are all trademarked items. By law, these marks cannot be altered in any way without permission of the Office of University Relations. In addition, vendors reproducing the logos must be licensed through CLC Licensing. The current list of protocols and approved Kutztown University vendors can be found at: https://www.kutztown.edu/logos. FALL 2021 ACCOMMODATION LETTERS
Fall 2021 accommodation letters will be available for students to start distributing via email on or about Wednesday, Aug. 25. The email subject line will indicate that you are receiving an accommodation letter and will list the corresponding course number. Please save a copy of these emails for your records. Students are instructed to reach out to you to discuss their accommodations. Take some time to review the accommodation letter with the student and determine how you will provide the approved accommodations in your class. Remember, while you may not ask students to disclose their disabilities, you may inquire about their difficulties and the challenges faced in the classroom.

CHANGES TO ENTERPRISE VEHICLE RENTAL PROCESSES

Employees wishing to submit an Enterprise Vehicle Rental Request Form should access the new form at https://app.kutztown.edu/WZ_032_DOCUSIGN/?ID=TSEnterpriseRental.
