KU to Celebrate 2022 Unity Day
Kutztown University will celebrate Unity Day 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at Schaeffer Lawn. Dr. Kenneth S. Hawkinson, university president, along with university leaders, representatives from the student body, the community and other campus officials will give remarks celebrating KU's diversity and sense of belonging to the Golden Bear community. The event will take place during the university's annual Community Link Fair, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., which brings together local businesses, non-profits and places of worship with the campus community.
After last night's cold front passage, high pressure builds into the region. Refreshing northwest flow will break the heat under sunny skies. High temperature near 82.
South Campus Drive between Deatrick and Beck halls will be temporarily closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Sept. 1 and 2 in order to make repairs to the steam/condinsate lines in the manhole. Please avoid this area and thank you for your cooperation.
