Some morning fog will eventually give way to mostly cloudy skies. Slight chance of morning showers. Shower threat increases by afternoon. High temperature in the mid 60s. Winds south at 3-7 mph. Rainfall total between .1-.25" with higher amounts locally.
 

 

THE SESQUICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION

THIS MONTH IN KU HISTORY

(Historical facts have been compiled from the KU Archives and Special Collections of the Rohrbach Library; the archives of the Keystone; Kutztown Patriot, Allentown Leader and Reading Eagle; and Beacon on the Hill by Dr. Lee Graver.)

In December 1969 Pennsylvania Governor Raymond P Shafer makea all presidents of student government boards at the 14 state institutions advisory members of their respective council of trustees.  The students have no voting privileges. 
 

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

GENERATOR LOAD TESTING
Starting on Dec.14, a contractor will be on campus to perform our annual "load testing" on certain building generators.  These tests will last for approximately two hours.  These tests were scheduled over the winter break to minimize any inconvenience to our students.

FOOD BOXES
Friend Inc. food boxes are due Dec. 14. Thanks to everyone who contributed for Thanksgiving - we collected 55 boxes. Our goal for Christmas is 100! For a list of needed items please click on this link and download the file from KUnited: https://orgsync.com/68686/files/665876/show.  Boxes can be dropped off at the Community Outreach Center, MSU 281.  If no one is at the office, just leave the boxes by the door.


  
WINTER BREAK HOURS
The Student Recreation Center will be open Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. and the Keystone Hall Swimming Pool will be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 9 a.m.  and 12 - 1 p.m. during winter break beginning Mon. Dec. 14, 2015 through Fri. Jan. 15, 2016.  We will be closed for the holidays from Fri. Dec. 25, 2015 through Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, reopening Monday, January 4, 2016 at 6am. 



PSECU HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
The PSECU eCenter will be closed Monday, Dec. 14 until Tuesday, Jan. 19 for winter break.  Please call 800-237-7328 for account questions or concerns.  Happy Holidays!
