Kutztown University dean's list 

 

More than 1,650 students have been named to the Fall 2015 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the list, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.  Students who have requested privacy have not been listed.

A warm front will be passing the region during the afternoon. In typical warm front fashion, precipitation will precede the front. Expect periods of moderate to heavy rain after a foggy start to the day. High temperature near 60. Winds calm. Rainfall total between .75-1" with higher amounts locally.
 

 

THE SESQUICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION

THIS MONTH IN KU HISTORY

Dec. 23, 1943:  The USO hosts a Yuletide Party and Dance for the 338th Air Detachment stationed at Kutztown State Teachers College during WWII.  The event is held in Risley Hall.  Residents from all over northern Berks County attend the event to celebrate the holidays with the soldiers.

ONLINE W-2 ELECTION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY
Avoid a lost, stolen or misplaced W-2 by enrolling for on-line W-2s. On-line W-2s are usually available prior to any sent in the mail. Do not delay tax filing because you cannot find your printed W-2. Requesting a duplicate printed W-2 takes time. Online W-2s can be accessed & printed at any time after they are released. Last day to sign up for an on-line W-2 is Dec. 25, 2015. Go to the Employee Self Service Tab; select Payroll, then Update W-2 Election. You must read and sign the Electronic Form W-2 Disclosure Notice to receive your W-2 on-line. Please contact HR with any questions.

CHRIS BLUM TO BE CROWNED KING OF BASEBALLTOWN
Kutztown University baseball coach Chris Blum will be crowned the 2016 King of Baseballtown when the Reading Fightin Phils, Double- A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, host the 2016 Phillies Winter Banquet on Tuesday, Jan. 19 at the Crowne Plaza Reading Hotel starting at 6:30 p.m.  Read the story here.  




  

GREAT GOLDEN BEAR GOLF SCRAMBLE - SAVE THE DATE
The 2016 Great Golden Bear Golf Scramble will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at a new location of Rich Maiden Golf Course. Mark your calendars and save the date for June 13, as further details and registration information will be forthcoming in the coming months.
