The Daily Brief

KU Psi Chi gathered gifts to be distributed at Wernersville State Hospital.
Members of KU Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology, gathered gifts and decorated gift boxes to be distributed to residents of Wernersville State Hospital. Students gathered enough items to fill eight boxes with everyday items including socks, hats and mittens, and toiletries.

High pressure builds in for the day. Mostly sunny skies are expected and we even get a little warm up! High temperature in the low 40s. Winds west at 3-8 mph.



Both centers will be closed Dec. 21 - 23.  During this time, please contact Jerry Schearer at 3-4923.
The centers will be also be closed from Dec. 24, 2016 - Jan. 2, 2017.  Any emergencies should be directed to Public Safety.


This is a reminder that any travel expenses or invoices that need to be postmarked and paid this year should be forwarded to and received by our office no later than TODAY, Dec. 21 in order to be processed with our last check run tomorrow, Dec. 22.  Otherwise, processing will resume after the holiday break.  Thank you.

AlphaGraphics Lehigh Valley is excited to be the onsite print service provider for KU!  Please join them for training on the Online Ordering site that they will be hosting.  They will be offering 6 different sessions before year end and will host more in the New Year.  The sessions are simple to participate in, you will COPY and PASTE the URL provided into a browser and then the password and then enter the meeting as a guest.  A dial in number will be available.  You can log in from anywhere as this will be hosted through Webex meetings.  To access the document with the training information and URL links, please visit the KU Card Office website (faculty & staff page) at: and scroll to the bottom where you will see a link to click on titled: AlphaGraphics Lehigh Valley - Online Ordering training document

The Career Development Center is proud to announce that 34 students completed the Success Career Development Certificate this semester. Senior offensive lineman Jordan Morgan has been named to the Associated Press Little All-America First Team for the second straight season, as the 2016 edition was released Friday.  The Little All-America team honors players from Division II, III and NAIA.
After receiving the award for the first time as a junior in 2015, Morgan is the second player in program history to earn two AP Little First Team All-America honors, joining John Mobley (1994-95).
Morgan has also been named First Team All-America this year by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA).  A redshirt-senior offensive tackle, Morgan is a two-time All-America selection and was named the Gene Upshaw Award winner as the top lineman in Division II.
The team captain became the first offensive lineman in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) history to be named the PSAC East Offensive Athlete of the Year and made the All-PSAC East First Team for the third consecutive season.
