President Hawkinson joins Jeffrey Hall, senior social work major and Jamey Roberti, Student Affairs graduate student as they present their poster titled “Access and Opportunity: Program Experiences Promoting Academic Success for Diverse Student Populations” at the recent State System Summit on Inclusive Excellence and International Education at West Chester University.

Cold front trudges in from the west contributing to breezy, mild conditions with rounds of showers. Precipitation amounts on the order of a quarter to a half inch of rain. Highs in the upper 50s. Perhaps the last day this mild for quite some time. Big, colder changes are coming.

DON'T THROW THAT OUT
The Women's Center is again sponsoring "Don't Throw That Out" from Dec. 11 - 15. The following donations will be accepted: food, personal care items, toys, clothing (winter only), art supplies, paper goods and cleaning supplies. Items can be dropped off at the Women's Center Oasis, 3 Old Main, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or at Residence Hall donation boxes.

HEART AT KU SPRING 2018 TRAINING CANCELLATION
Due to staff vacancies and scheduling issues, Safe Berks is unable to offer the HEART at KU 66-hour training seminar at KU during the Spring 2018 semester. There will be an accelerated training seminar offered at Safe Berks beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 16. Class sessions will meet weekly on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. - noon and 1 - 4 p.m., and Thursdays from 9 a.m. - noon. Members of the KU campus community can contact Jen Ebersole, director of Education and Outreach at Safe Berks, at JenniferE@SafeBerks.org  to register for classes, based on availability.
