2019 PASSHE STEM STUDENT RESEARCH CONFERENCE
Kutztown University hosted the sixth annual PASSHE Student Research Conference in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics on Nov. 2. This year’s conference showcased the work of participants from 10 PASSHE universities. Over 140 people attended to observe and learn from more than 70 student presentations and one keynote speech. We regretfully write to inform the campus community about the passing of Professor Emeritus, Dr. Richard B. Close, on Nov. 30. Dr. Close taught in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration for 25 years and retired in 2000. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE PROCEDURE
Offices and departments are responsible to submit invoices to the Office of Accounts Payable at apinvoice@kutztown.edu immediately after entering a purchase requisition or receiving the invoice. Invoice must include the purchase requisition/purchase order number, signature, date and be marked OK to pay. This procedure will ensure timely payment to our vendors and prevent unnecessary passing of paperwork between departments.

RHONDA BRANFORD'S RETIREMENT RECEPTION

The campus community is welcome to honor Rhonda Branford, director of the Multicultural Center. After 38 years at Kutztown University including the past 18 and a half years as the MCC director, we want to wish Rhonda well in retirement. Please feel free to stop by Friday, Dec. 6, from 1:30- 4:30 p.m. in the Multicultural Center Unity Room to share memories, have cupcakes and say farewell. Her official last day is Friday, Dec. 20.
