HOLIDAY GREETINGS TO THE KUTOWN UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY
President Kenneth S. Hawkinson, Ann Marie Hayes-Hawkinson and “Wynnie” wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season, and a bright and hopeful new year.
Thanks to KU's international students and the Presidential International Piano Quintet for helping us share season's greetings with the Golden Bear family. Watch on YouTube.

WOMEN’S CENTER
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Sandra Joy McSwain-Jones, Ed.D. Dr. McSwain was a faculty member in the Department of Counseling at KU for 25 years, until she retired in 2013. She began her career as the first director of the Women’s Center, and served in that role from 1989 until 1991. Sandra stayed on as a member of the Women’s Center Advisory Board for many years. We were pleased that she was able to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Women’s Center with us, in November 2019. May she rest in peace. Click here to read Dr. Sandra Joy McSwain-Jones’ obituary.

WINTER BREAK OFFICE CLEANING
During the past semester, the facilities custodial team has offered limited office cleaning services. Beginning Monday, Dec. 14, the team is going to begin a winter break project of vacuuming all offices on campus. This will be performed primarily by our second shift crew. We understand many are limiting access into their space due to COVID-19. We will disinfect touchpoints when we leave each office space. If you prefer the team stay out of your office and skip the service, please notify Paul Mackewicz at mackewic@kutztown.edu. Thank you.
