Connor Ellis, KU eSports club, presented a team jersey to President Hawkinson on behalf of the club for Hawkinson's continued support of the club. KU's eSports Arena, a state-of-the-art facility in McFarland Student Union, was renovated in February 2020 and serves as the home for the club.

Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger

High pressure to our north will provide for another pleasant day. Warn front approaches later in the day so clouds will be on the increase. High temperature near 50. Winds southeast at 5 mph.

Spring 2021 University Relations assessed user satisfaction of the Daily Brief to determine the effectiveness of faculty and staff internal communications with an 8-question survey. The survey had a 25% response rate. Respondents reported a 90% satisfaction with the overall quality of the Daily Brief (i.e., 51% Satisfied and 39% Very Satisfied). However, 6% reported dissatisfaction with the ease of submission (i.e., 3% Somewhat Dissatisfied, 2% Dissatisfied, and 1% Very Dissatisfied). As a result of your feedback, the Daily Brief will increase the word limit to 250-300 words and create a new submission form. Information Technology is currently working to implement these changes as well as make the newsletter responsive and resizable. Look for these changes sometime during the spring semester.
