On Tuesday, Dec. 21 there will be no steam in Boehm Science starting at 5 a.m. in order to make emergency repairs to the steam system. This will impact the heating and hot water supplies in the building. Expect these repairs to take most of the day. Sorry for any inconvenience.

We want to thank the many staff and volunteers that contributed to the success of the commencement ceremonies this past weekend. It certainly is a KU community effort that makes our graduations so meaningful to our students and their guests. A special thank you goes to our Facilities crew, whose members work tirelessly behind the scenes without complaint, often jumping in to help manage unexpected challenges that arise. Our true Golden Bear spirit shines brightest as we celebrate the achievements of our graduates—thanks for helping to make it all possible!

Please note if you have invoices that need to be paid before the new year, they must be submitted via email to apinvoice@kutztown.edu by end of day Tuesday, Dec. 21. This will allow Accounts Payable to process before the holiday break; otherwise, payment will be processed in the new year.

Tammy Moyer, Disbursement Manager - Financial & Business Services

Please note the bid threshold amount for 2022 has increased from $21,300 to $21,900 effective Jan 1, 2022. As a reminder, this amount applies to all competitive procurements, including construction. However, this threshold does not apply to contracts issued under master agreements, ITQs, or other contracting mechanisms where the underlying contract was issued as a cooperative agreement via competitive solicitation or another contracting mechanism otherwise consistent with the requirements of the Procurement Code.
