Bloom Bloom by Dana Harper, Marlin and Regina Miller Gallery Kutztown University
BLOOM BLOOM by Dana Harper, a site specific installation in the Marlin and Regina Miller Gallery, is on view until March 10.   With the help of students, Harper transforms the gallery with her installation that is a result of her 3 week residency. Incorporating captivating textures, intense colors, and an overall multi-sensory experience, Bloom Bloom becomes a portal to warm feelings and childhood fantasy.

RESCHEDULED - REDISTRICTING: THE REAL VOTER FRAUD

The Department of Political Science and Public Administration is pleased to sponsor the panel, "Redistricting: The Real Voter Fraud," on Feb. 23 in 201 AF from 6:30-8 p.m. The panel will feature State Senator Judy Schwank representing Pa.'s 11th Senatorial District and Diana G. Dakey representing Fair Districts Pa. This is a non-partisan event designed to inform the electorate. A question and answer session will follow the speakers' presentation. CHAMBLISS STUDENT ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS - NOMINATIONS DUE TODAY
Nomination deadline Feb. 10
Faculty and staff are encouraged to nominate students graduating December 2016 or May 2017 for this prestigious award.  Nominees should exemplify an exceptional individual achievement in one or more of the following areas: 
a) Successfully completed research projects
b) Original artwork of high quality
c) Artistic performances (music, chorus, drama, etc.) of high quality
d) Original writing in literature or meritorious writing in other fields
e) Noteworthy achievements in athletics
f) Outstanding service to the Kutztown University community

Up to twelve medals (2 gold, 4 silver, 6 copper) provided by retired faculty member Dr. Carlson Chambliss are issued annually to selected students.  The nomination form can be found at http://www.kutztown.edu/AcademicAchievementAwards.
