Birdland All-Stars Featuring Tommy Igoe

BIRDLAND ALL-STARS FEATURING TOMMY IGOE
"The Art of Jazz"
Thursday, Feb. 15, at 7:30 p.m.
The Birdland All-Stars have been thrilling audiences at "The Jazz Corner of the World" for the last 10 years. Led by drumming sensation Tommy Igoe, they have created new arrangements featuring the music of David Bowie, The Police, and Steely Dan, as well as fresh treatments of iconic compositions by Charlie Parker, Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock. This multimedia presentation "The Art of Jazz" brings live performance to a new level, as visual artists create paintings in real time.
Tickets are still available for $32 ($16 for students, $10 for KU Students with ID) and can be purchased with check or cash at the MSU Information Center or with credit card at www.kutztownpresents.org or ext. 3-4092.

NEW IRS TAX TABLES IN EFFECT
The 2018 Federal payroll tax tables/rates have been applied to the payroll system effective January 11. Due to the new rates, you may see a change to your pay on Friday, Feb. 16. Per the IRS, "The new withholding tables are designed to work with the Forms W-4 that workers have already filed with their employers to claim withholding allowances. This will minimize the burden on taxpayers and employers. Employees do not have to do anything at this time." Additionally, the IRS plans to have a revised withholding calculator available by the end of February. The IRS is encouraging taxpayers to use that calculator to adjust their 2018 withholdings. If you have questions, we recommend you access the IRS.gov website at one of the following links:
