Daily Brief

February 11, 2021

KU mascot, Avalanche, sits at the foot of a bronze statue of a golden bear standing on hind legs. In the background is the back of Old Main and the basketball courts with blue skies overhead. Piles of shoveled snow melt along the sidewalk directly behind Avalanche and the statue.

WEATHER

Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger

Our endless train of wintry events continues with another minor low pressure exiting today. By the time you read this, snow will likely have wrapped up with another coating to 2 inches or so on the ground. The rest of today will then just feature mainly cloudy skies with highs in the low-30s. Watch for slick spots as you walk and drive.
