THE RESILIENCY OF SMALL BUSINESSES
Feb. 24
Pennsylvania SBDC's Marcia McGavisk, director of capital acquisition, will join First Lady Frances Wolf's Facebook Live panel conversation, noon, Wednesday, Feb. 24, to discuss the resilience of many small businesses during the pandemic. This conversation, “The Bigger Picture: The Resiliency of Small Businesses,” will highlight supports that exist for small businesses, actions the administration has taken to support small businesses and small businesses who have gotten creative to keep their business moving and their employees and community safe. https://fb.me/e/NASye0Sh

– Blocking off spaces for events.
– Locking and unlocking buildings before 7 a.m. and after 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and all weekend times.
– Parking enforcement questions and lot or parking space reservations should be directed to tickets@kutztown.edu.
– Authorization list, for student access to buildings after hours tickets@kutztown.edu.

DIVERSITY CONFERENCE SCHEDULE NOW IN ENGAGE
There is still time to register for Friday’s, Feb. 26, virtual Diversity Conference, hosted by the Commission on Human Diversity. There will be great keynotes and breakout sessions from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants can come and go as needed. Faculty, staff and students are invited. MOCK INTERVIEW MANIA FOR STUDENTS

Staff and faculty, please encourage students to participate in Mock-Interview Mania, which is online this semester. Juniors and seniors can complete one, approximately 15-20 minute, recorded mock interview, and a friendly, experienced employer will review and comment on it. Your students can sign up by sending careerhelp@kutztown.edu an email with their interest. The deadline to participate is Wednesday, March 10. These mock interviews are general in nature and are a great opportunity for students to practice interviewing. Contact the Career Development Center with any questions.

BLESSING BAG DONATIONS SOUGHT
The Community Outreach Center is making blessing bags for those in need and are asking for your participation. Offices, departments, families or student clubs are welcome to contribute items to fill 50 bags that will be distributed to the homeless.
