High pressure moves in after our cold frontal passage yesterday. Mostly clear skies but strong westerly winds will keep temperatures in check. High temperature in the upper 20s. Winds west at 11-15 mph.

In January 1937, the Keystone is ranked the second best student newspaper in the state by the Pa. School Publication Association.

ST. CHRISTOPHER CATHOLIC NEWMAN CENTER NATIONALLY RANKED
Congratulations to the St. Christopher Catholic Newman Center at Kutztown University for being ranked 22nd in the nation by Best College Reviews.  The center ranked highest in the State System and second highest in Pennsylvania behind the University of Pennsylvania.  The Newman Centers on this list were chosen based on offering regularly scheduled Mass each week; offering Eucharistic Adoration, Confession, and other opportunities for spiritual growth; offering regular community-building events; having a Catholic population of greater than 100 students; and the percentage of Catholic students, relationship with the local parish and specific site amenities.

APSCUF OFFICE CLOSURE MONDAY, JANUARY 18
The APSCUF-KU office will be closed Monday, January 18 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Normal office hours will resume 8 a.m., Tuesday, January 19.

CONNECTIONS
The CONNECTIONS Orientation Office will host two orientation events this week.  The first will be held on Wednesday, January 13 and will consist of first-time freshmen and family members. The second will take place on Thursday, January 14 and will be offered for new transfer students and family members. Both events will take place in the Academic Forum. Please join us in welcoming everyone to the KU community!

ANTHONY LEE EARNS SECOND PSAC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK HONOR
On the same day that the Kutztown University men's basketball team improved to fourth in the latest Division II Sports Information Directors of America (D2SIDA) Atlantic Region Media Poll, redshirt-freshman Anthony Lee  was honored by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) as the Eastern Division Freshman of the Week.
