Recently, Kariana Leinbach (BA Music, German minor, Honors Program) accompanied Dr. Lynn M. Kutch, associate professor of German, Modern Language Studies, on a school visit to Parkland High School in Allentown.  She assisted with a German lesson prepared for the 45 high school students in attendance, and also fielded questions from the students about Kutztown's German program and college life.

UCC DEADLINE
The next University Curriculum Committee (UCC) meeting of the 2015-2016 academic year will be held on January 28. The deadline for submission of all proposals for this meeting is 12 p.m. (noon) today, Thurs., Jan. 14. Please submit new proposals prior to this deadline to the UCC SharePoint Drop Off Library, at http://intranet/sites/committees/ucc/submissions.  If you have any questions, please contact Ms. French at ext. 3-1312.

ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL - INFORMATION SESSION
Business Services will be holding an information/training session Tuesday, February 9 at 2 p.m. for any faculty or staff member who would like to learn about the process for renting vehicles through Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The session will include information on: paperwork that needs to be completed before a vehicle is rented, how and when to order a rental vehicle through the KU website, how to order a 15-passenger van, and other general information relating to the vehicle rental process. CONNECTIONS
The CONNECTIONS Orientation Office will host two orientation events this week.  The first will be held on Wednesday, January 13 and will consist of first-time freshmen and family members. The second will take place on Thursday, January 14 and will be offered for new transfer students and family members. Both events will take place in the Academic Forum. ANTHONY LEE EARNS SECOND PSAC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK HONOR
On the same day that the Kutztown University men's basketball team improved to fourth in the latest Division II Sports Information Directors of America (D2SIDA) Atlantic Region Media Poll, redshirt-freshman Anthony Lee  was honored by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) as the Eastern Division Freshman of the Week.
