The Daily Brief

Five KU VPA student studying printmaking in Oaxaca, Mexico
Five Kutztown students in the visual arts are studying printmaking in Oaxaca, Mexico. The short-term study abroad course is taught by Prof. Kevin McCloskey, Communication Design Dept. The students purchased toys in Oaxaca's central market to donate to poor children for the Feast of the Three Kings. The KU students were rewarded for their generosity with ringside seats at a Lucha Libre wrestling match. 1 p.m. COB Associate Dean Candidate 2 Open Forum, MSU 312

(Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger)

Low pressure and a warm front will bring increasing clouds with a light wintry mix mainly in the afternoon and evening. It'll be a close call between slick p.m. rush hour roads and not so much as the main precipitation shield looks more north, but just be cautious. Your commute home could be a slow one. Highs rising into the 30s. No major accumulation expected but watch for icy spots.
