The Daily Brief

Help Us Celebrate Student Achievements

HELP US CELEBRATE STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS
Do you know of a student doing something exceptional and newsworthy that the university should be promoting?  There is now an online contribution form available through the school's Merit Page.  This system allows the university to promote students via social media, the web and to local and hometown media across the country.

Some story ideas include:
Internships, Scholarships, Study Abroad, Groundbreaking Research, Music Performances, Honor Societies, Public or Community Service, Academic or Service Awards, Art Exhibitions

You can submit student stories, at any time of the year, by visiting https://kutztown.meritpages.com/contributions/new

Help us spread the news of the great things our students are doing.  If you have any questions please email me at dajohnson@kutztown.edu.

TODAY'S EVENTS

(Click Here for the Central Calendar)

10:55 a.m. KU Alert System Test
11 a.m. Senior Kickoff, MSU 218
7 - 9 p.m. Berks Jazz Jam, Schaeffer Auditorium

TODAY'S WEATHER

(Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger)

Alberta Clipper zips through today and provides on and off light snow and/or snow showers. A fresh coating of snow is possible, just enough to make the roads a bit slick, so give yourself a few extra minutes on the road today and take it easy. Things should be passable. Highs will be in the 30s.

A new edition of ‘Weather & Climate Chat’ with Dr. Michael Davis and Monsoon Mike Regensburger is now available for listening. Note this was recorded yesterday, so consider that when hearing words like “today” and “tomorrow,” but still some good information here, including today’s snow, perhaps some more snow this coming weekend, and what, if anything, happens in between.
