Tim Good and Daryl Keim, University Storeroom, are retiring Friday, Jan. 3. We wish them well in their retirement and thank them for their many years of service to Kutztown University. Beginning Monday, Jan. 6, Pam Reinhart will be the University Storeroom supervisor and all USPS mail will be processed in the storeroom. Mail counter services will be operating out of the KU Card Office, 107 Academic Forum. Transportation Services will move to 106 Academic Forum.

The reimbursement rate for use of personal automobile for official State System travel has decreased to 57.5 cents per mile effective Jan. 1, 2020. (For travel occurring from Jan. 1, 2019, through Dec. 31, 2019, the reimbursement rate is 0.58 cents per mile.) Jan. 9
KU hosts the 2020 Berks County Science Olympiad Thursday, Jan. 9. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. in the McFarland Student Union. The competition concludes with an awards ceremony at 1:45 p.m. Students from Antietam, Bayard Rustin, Boyertown, Central York, Conrad Weiser, Exeter, Fleetwood, Governor Mifflin, Reading, Sun Valley, Twin Valley, West Chester East, Wilson and Wyomissing Area will be participating. The Science Olympiad is an international nonprofit organization devoted to improving the quality of K-12 science education, creating a passion for learning science and providing recognition for outstanding achievement in science education by both students and teachers.
