Happy New Year from University Well-being. We want to celebrate you and thank you for your energy and resolve during these trying times in the world. University Well-being will host an all-staff Well-Being Event, Thursday, Jan. 13, to celebrate you. Faculty on campus are welcome to attend; however, a special event just for you is being planned for when you are back to campus - we want to celebrate you too. Dress in your comfiest, KU inspired gear! You will find the full event schedule on our website. As always, consult with your supervisor during your time away from your area. Welcome back to campus. Mileage Reimbursement Rate

In accordance with a change in the U.S. General Services Administration’s privately owned vehicle mileage reimbursement rates and Board of Governors’ Policy 1986-07-A, Travel Expense Regulations, the reimbursement rate for use of a personal automobile for official State System travel has increased to 58.5 cents per mile effective Jan. 1, 2022.  (For travel occurring from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2021, the reimbursement rate is 56.0 cents per mile.) 6th Annual Social Work Clinical Updates Colloquium

The Department of Social Work presents: 6th Annual Clinical Updates Colloquium, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.,  Friday, Jan. 14, virtual. This day-long event features two keynote presentations, "The Emotionally Naked Truth about Youth Suicide" and "Leveling the Playing Field: Empowering Youth Voices through the Lens of Race and Equity," as well as highlighting local resources for youth. The event is co-sponsored by Service Access and Management, Inc. and the Pennsylvania Higher Education Suicide Prevention Coalition.  Please register at the Department of Social Work's website under Events.
