Recreation and Sport Club Advisors Needed

The Office of Recreational Services is looking for faculty/staff advisors for the Bass Fishing, Disc Golf, Men's Lacrosse and Men's Volleyball clubs. The advisor donates their time working with the club to ensure compliance with university policies and to assist in the learning and development of student participants. Other duties include advising the executive board in creating yearly budgets, providing approval for club financial transactions, attending club meetings, games or events whenever possible and serving as a source of information for the students. If you are interested in becoming the advisor for one of the above-listed clubs, please contact Matt Barrett, coordinator of structured sports, at barrett@kutztown.edu.

6th Annual Social Work Clinical Updates Colloquium

The Department of Social Work presents: 6th Annual Clinical Updates Colloquium, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.,  Friday, Jan. 14, virtual. This day-long event features two keynote presentations, "The Emotionally Naked Truth about Youth Suicide" and "Leveling the Playing Field: Empowering Youth Voices through the Lens of Race and Equity," as well as highlighting local resources for youth. The event is co-sponsored by Service Access and Management, Inc. and the Pennsylvania Higher Education Suicide Prevention Coalition.  Please register at the Department of Social Work's website under Events.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day Closures

  • Health & Wellness Services will be closed Monday, Jan. 17 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. When the Health Center is closed, on campus students please contact Public Safety & Police Services at 610-683-4001 if medical care or assistance is needed.  If you have emergency off campus, call 911.
  • The Student Recreation Center and Keystone Hall Swimming Pool will be closed Monday, Jan. 17 in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
