President Hawkinson's Spring 2022 Update and Welcome

Welcome to the 2022 Spring Semester at Kutztown University. I want to thank all of you - our faculty, staff, students, alumni and supporters - for your dedication and commitment to making our fall semester such a success. While we had to overcome continued challenges with the pandemic, the return of in-person classes and events made the semester feel much more like a traditional college experience for all. We celebrated outstanding accomplishments by our students, faculty and staff; held a spectacular kickoff gala for our record-setting “Together We’re Golden” comprehensive campaign, which is currently nearing a total of $37 million of its $40 million goal; and cheered through unforgettable seasons from our Golden Bear football and women’s soccer teams. Many of our recent accomplishments have positioned our university for a stronger future. Click here to read the full story.

Bookstore Accounts

Do you know a student that is waiting on a financial aid refund in order to buy their books?  They may be eligible for a bookstore account to use their pending aid sooner.  Encourage them to apply online and see if this may work for them.  Not all students will be approved.

Wendy Pursell, Office of Student Accounts

Student Accommodation Letters are Ready

Students registered with the DSO will be approaching you to discuss their academic needs and their approved academic accommodations. Please take some time to review accommodation letters with your students, discuss their needs, and determine how you will provide their approved accommodations. Please remember that some students may be self-advocating for the first time. Please be patient as students explain their need for accommodations. Contact the DSO at 610-683-4108 or DSO@kutztown.edu if you have any questions.
