Congratulations to Lisa M. Feliciano (Biology Pre-medicine major) who presented a poster of her research on the effectiveness of bird feeder cleaning methods at an international joint meeting of the Association of Field Ornithologists, Society of Canadian Ornithologists and Wilson Ornithological Society at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada on July 18, 2015.

Partly to Mostly Sunny and gorgeous as high pressure takes over behind yesterday's cold front which flushed away all that heat and humidity. It'll be breezy with temperatures only in the low 80s. Those breezes will gust 5 to 15 mph from the north-west. Lunch outside!

CONGRATULATIONS - A NEW GOLDEN BEAR!
We are very happy to announce the arrival of Eli, born to Maggie Mclaughlin Yannes, assistant director, Disability Services and her husband Bill on Saturday, July 18.  Maggie and Eli (6 lbs 3 oz, 21"), who joins big sister Abby (age 4), are doing well.  Congratulations and well-wishes can be sent to Maggie and her family at 9116 Slatevilleville Road Kempton, Pa  19529.

LANGUAGE RESOURCE CENTER CLOSED
Please note that the Language Resource Center will be closed from July 27 until the start of classes.  The LRC will re-open on August 24 with student staff only.  The MLS Department wishes to acknowledge the contributions of the LRC Director, Ms. Deanne Cobb-Zygadlo, in developing and maintaining the LRC as a center for personalized academic student and faculty support during her tenure at KU.  We wish her the best of luck in her new career!  Questions regarding the LRC may be directed to MLS Department Chair, Christine Coleman Núñez (nunez@kutztown.edu).
 


  
TO ORDER SESQUICENTENNIAL STATIONERY
Create a Warehouse Reservation using the regular material numbers for letterhead (408), #10 envelopes (1106 & 1107), and/or envelopes manila (1113, 1110, 1116, and 1117).  The storeroom is providing Sesquicentennial printed materials for these orders until the supplies are depleted.
