Dr. Cynthia Stunkard

Dr. Cynthia Stunkard, assistant professor of education at Kutztown University, has been named to the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE)'s new Clinical Practice Commission (CPC). Stunkard joins a group of higher education and K-12 leaders from across the country, which will examine the state of clinical practice (commonly known as "field experience") in teacher preparation. The CPC is charged with identifying a set of criteria that define clinical practice, lifting up exemplary models in the field and ultimately publishing a set of recommendations for teacher preparation programs nationwide.

KU Presents! Ticket Sales Begin Aug. 4
Ticket sales for KU Presents! 2015-2016 concerts will go on sale to the public beginning at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015.  Tickets can be purchased by calling the KU Presents! Box Office at 610-683-4092 or by visiting the KU Presents! Box Office on the 2nd floor of Schaeffer Auditorium.  The box office is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.    Online ticket sales will begin Friday, Aug. 14, 2015 at www.kutztownpresents.org
KU Presents! Opens Sept. 15 with Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave.
 


  

FALL ADMISSION EVENTS
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions has confirmed the dates for Fall Open House and Accepted Student Day events.  Fall 2015 Open Houses are Fridays:  October 2, October 23 and November 6 and Accepted Student Days in spring 2016 are Saturdays:  February 27, March 19, April 2 and April 23.

TELEPHONE SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
The telephone services team will be performing software upgrades to the telephone system on from 5 p.m. today, July 24 until 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 25.  During this telephone maintenance, there will be intermittent outages of telephone service. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
