ANNOUNCEMENTS

KUR
Tune in for a very special edition of our late Thursday morning/early Thursday afternoon community-interest block of programming. At 11:30 a.m., it's "What's the Story" with Jo Painter. This week, how many times do we think "I should do something" but the thought never translates into action? This week, Jo introduces you to Walt Zawaski who had a thought and followed through. His thought was that people are hungry and he should plant potatoes. Because he followed through, 84,000 people in Berks County have enjoyed the benefit of fresh food on their table. His story is amazing. Tune in for this poignant edition of "What's the Story." Then at high noon, Mike McVicar does his weekly summer duty of exposing you to the most unexposed music you should be listening to on "The Cyberden." At 1 p.m., the international GBLTQ radio magazine "This Way Out," followed at 1:30 p.m. by women's issues on "Fifty One Percent," the women's issues magazine. Listen to KUR on campus at 1670 AM, on your computer by streaming http://www.kutztown.edu/KUR, on local cable TV channels 24, 28, 99, and/or 266, on your smartphone by downloading the Tune-In app and searching up "Kutztown," or on ANY phone, cell or landline by dialing (610)-465-7860. KUR if your caring community award-winning 24/7 radio station. Thank you for listening.
