TODAY'S WEATHER

(Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger)

Uh oh .... It's baaaaaack. The humidity starts creeping back in today after a nice two day respite, setting us up for a brutal weekend. But for today, not quite that bad ... yet. Warm and turning more humid under sunshine. Highs in the upper 80s. Southwest breezes.

THE SESQUICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION

THIS MONTH IN KU HISTORY

(Historical facts have been compiled from the KU Archives and Special Collections of the Rohrbach Library; the archives of the Keystone; Kutztown Patriot, Allentown Leader and Reading Eagle; and Beacon on the Hill by Dr. Lee Graver.)

July 21, 1894:  The Kutztown Patriot announces the marriage of Amos C. Rothermel, vice principal of the Keystone State Normal School, to Miss Ada L. Spatz, Reading, Pa.  The wedding is conducted by the Reverend George B. Hancher, principal of KSNS, in the home of the bride's parents.
