(Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger)

Yesterday’s cool front combined with a trough settling into the area will make for the start of a different feel to the air beginning today than where we have been as of late. Translation = Lower humidity & much more comfortable temperatures. There could be a shower around today as this transition happens, but I think much of the day stays dry. Clouds may be the main feature today, but there should also be some sun. Highs in the low 80s. Light north winds.

July 10 - 28
Annual fire sprinkler system inspections will occur Monday, July 10, through Friday, July 28. Service technicians will be inspecting sprinkler system components such as sprinkler heads, piping, valves and fire pumps in our campus buildings equipped with sprinkler systems. For the most part, the inspection process will be transparent, except where system components may exist in common or other occupied spaces requiring the technician to access a valve or device. This work does not require sounding of alarms in the building, but may result in a discharge of water to the outside of the building through sprinkler drains. Thank you for your cooperation while this important inspection task is performed.
