Some showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon ahead of an approaching front. Trough to setup just east of the Appalachians and storms will follow along this boundary in a northeasterly direction based on mid-level winds. Some storms could produce heavy rain and strong wind. High temperature in the mid-80s. Winds west at 5 mph. Rainfall between 0.25-0.5" with higher amounts where storms occur.
