Warm front stalls over our area. Several days of unsettled weather are expected. Showers and t-storms are possible throughout the day. Some of those could be soakers as there is abundant moisture in the atmosphere. High temperature in the upper 80s. Southwest winds at 5 mph. Rainfall between .10-.25 of an inch with higher amounts where storms occur.

GOGGLEWORKS FESTIVAL FEATURES KU FACULTY, STUDENTS
The GoggleWorks Theater, Reading, Pennsylvania, will present a festival of contemporary animated shorts and a panel discussion about "Careers in Animation," Saturday, July 10, and Tuesday, July 14. The audience will be treated to a screening of the 2021 Oscar-Nominated Animated Shorts and a curated reel of experimental films by young animators. "We selected works based on interesting techniques, from traditional 2-D animation to stop-motion, layered films and looping GIFs. Animation is an in-demand skill and there are so many different ways to go about it," said associate professor Ann Lemon, who worked with professors Leigh Kane and Michael Covello to create the program. Kutztown University alumni and students were featured.

CLASSROOM FURNITURE RETURNING
During the week of July 12, tablet arm chairs, chairs and desks will be returned to the academic buildings and placed in the hallways to allow for cleaning and allocation after being stored during the pandemic. By the end of the first week of August all furniture will be cleaned and returned to the classrooms and labs. Sorry for the inconvenience. We appreciate your understanding while trying to prepare for in-person classes this fall.
