Children from the Kutztown community during KU Arts Society and the CVPA Art Education Department art camp

Kids Art Camp

Kutztown University welcomed children from the community to the Sharadin Arts Building this summer for two weeks of sold-out art camps organized by the KU Arts Society and the CVPA art education department. Sixty-five students engaged in textiles, dyeing, painting and drawing at a full-day-week-long camp taught by alumni from our art education program. Students also visited the Steamworks Lab for sewing and button making, the Idea Studio to see the laser cutter in action, and the science building for a gem discussion. Join us a for a quick art show of their creations in the Sharadin Atrium hallway from 3:45-4 p.m. Friday, July 15.
