The Kutztown University community gathered for a candlelight vigil Sunday, June 20, at College Hill Memorial Grove to remember the 49 lives lost in the Orlando nightclub shooting.

High pressure continues to influence the region. Mostly sunny skies are expected. The heat will be on though as there will be poor air circulation from weak winds. Stay cool! High temperature in the low 90s with heat index values in the upper 90s. Winds southwest at 5 mph.

June 20, 1955:  Bruce Harper is born in Englewood, N.J.  Harper played football at Kutztown State College and was the first player to rush for 1,000 yards in school history.  Harper was signed by the New York Jets in 1977, only the second player from Kutztown to enter the NFL.  He spent 8 years with the Jets. 



The "Apply Online for On-Campus Housing" process will temporarily be unavailable July 1 through July 10 in order to process assignments and charges for preparation of invoicing by Student Accounts.

The deadline to cancel your on-campus housing for the Fall 2016/Spring 2017 academic year without penalty is June 30, 2016, at 4 p.m.  Cancels received after this time will have a minimum $1500 penalty applied.  A written cancel must be received in our Housing office: P. The University Storeroom will be conducting our annual inventory the week of June 20 - 23. 

It is imperative that campus users refrain from attempting to use the material reservation transaction codes during this time.  The system will resume accepting material reservation transactions beginning Friday, June 24.

During this time the storeroom will be unable to make campus deliveries.  We will resume our regular delivery schedule on Friday, June 24.

Lot F1 (Stratton Administration Building)
Today the upper portion of Lot F1 from the building to the island with the trees will be open, but the rest of the lot will remain closed for the week of June 20 to complete paving and line striping.  During this time, parking will be available in Lot F2 (Kemp), Lot F6 (Lower Admin Lot), Lot F3 (OM I-Wing), and Lot F4 (Stadium).
