The Daily Brief

Lynn Kutch "Novel Perspectives on German-Language Comics Studies"

Dr. Lynn M. Kutch, associate professor of German (MLS), is pleased to announce the publication of her anthology Novel Perspectives on German-language Comics Studies: History, Pedagogy, Theory (June 15, 2016, Lexington Books).  Kutch edited the anthology, translated a chapter from a German contributor, and wrote a chapter on a graphic novel by Gerald Hartwig, an Austrian graphic novelist who also provided the cover art. The collaboration grew out of an event that Kutch organized with Hartwig at the convention of the Northeast Modern Language Association (NeMLA) 2015 in Toronto.  See The Daily Brief from May 6, 2015 http://www2.kutztown.edu/news-and-media/ku-media/daily-brief/may-2015/may-6-2015.htm
